A Century of Brides©

The last Century provided us with an immense wealth of Styles and Fashions which constantly changed decade by decade. Each Era had it’s own unique ‘Look’.

We’ll proceed throughout the 20thCentury looking at  Wedding ensembles worn by blushing Brides, girlish bridesmaids and other Ladies of the entourage.

Ceremony, traditions and all the pertinant trivia associated with weddings plus accessories, lingerie including bridal flowers will be covered on our journey.

Create Trousseaus and build up an extensive wardrobe  for each party depicting the Styles of the Times -

- if the Twenties bride wants to Shimmy the night away then we’ll dress her appropriately

 - if the Thirties Bride chose to go on a Ski-ing Honeymoon then we’ll accompany her!

Period Style Honeymoon attire is covered too!

This Collection of Patterns will evovle into a History of 20thC Bridal Wear which can be worn by a variety of Fashion Dolls in varying sizes.

Please note that each pattern will be designed to fit the doll wearing or illustrating it, although advice can be given for adapting patterns for an alternative fit.
